A Night in New Orleans with the Treme Brass Band
Celebrate Mardi Gras early with the band that lives and breathes N’Orleans!

Composed of legendary reedmen and young innovators, all “masters with the ‘rat-tat-tat’ born in their blood,” this seminal band keeps things lively  by mixing elements of funk, soul and modern jazz into traditional brass “second line” style.

Grab a seat and you’ll feel like you’re in the Candlelight Bar of this historic neighborhood where these kings of the French Quarter hold court, playing traditional Big Easy favorites.

  • Gimme My Money Back
  • Back O’town Blues
  • When The Saints Go Marching In
  • Just a Closer Walk with Thee

The band takes its name from The Faubourg Treme, one of New Orleans’ oldest neighborhoods. You may have seen the band in Spike Lee’s post-Hurricane Katrina documentaries, symbolizing the resilient spirit and rich culture of a traumatized city.

“One of the premier brass bands of New Orleans in superb unbridled form.” ~ OffBeat Magazine
