Gifted young musicians don’t walk out their front doors and straight onto the stage of Carnegie Hall or into a classroom at Eastman, Cleveland Institute or Juilliard. They work hard with their schoolwork, community commitments and practice, refining their techniques and learning how to perform in front of an audience.
Among the many performance opportunities provided by Arizona Musicfest are the Young Performers Recitals.
Young Performers Recitals are approximately 45 minutes in length, creating a pleasant interlude on a weekend afternoon. This is the perfect opportunity to comfortably introduce the children in your family, ages five and up, to the delights of live music.
Each recital is followed by a Meet the Musicians reception so that fellow music aficionados of all ages are able to ask questions, discuss the program or chat about their various musical experiences.
These FREE Recitals are at 2:00pm on November 12, 2011 and March 3, 2012 at Steinway Hall; and December 10, 2011; January 14 and April 14, 2012 at Vi at Silverstone.
These recitals are free to the public. For more information, please call Arizona Musicfest at 480.488.0806 or toll free at 866.488.0806.
