Maestro Robert Moody conducts The Arizona Musicfest Festival Orchestra

Next, the world premiere of Desert Transport, the Arizona Musicfest-commissioned Overture by Mason Bates, honoring our 20th Anniversary. Last Festival, Mason fell in love with the power of our Orchestra. Desert Transport was created expressly for their majestic talents. You’ll be moved by soaring melodies, uncoiling with momentum, as full symphonic lusciousness transports us from urban Arizona to the high Sonoran Wonderland.

Then to top it all off, Maestro Moody thrills us with Rachmaninoff’s Symphony #2. A vigorous and beautiful flow of romance.
