It takes a talented orchestra to perform The Ninth with the majesty required. Arizona Musicfest has that.
The Ninth is also the first example of a major composer using voices in a symphony. It demands a powerful and disciplined chorus. Arizona Musicfest has that, as well.
Beethoven himself conducted the Premiere performance. 187 years later, we are thrilled that our Maestro, our Orchestra, and our Chorus will use The Ninth to conclude the Orchestral Series of our 20th Festival.
