Presented through the generosity of
Musicfest Minutes, a daily music listening program, reaches close to 6,000 students every single day, in 230 classrooms located within 12 schools in six school districts (Cave Creek, Creighton, Deer Valley, Paradise Valley, Phoenix District 1 and Scottsdale).
For several minutes every day, students listen to classical music, preceded by a brief introduction to the composition and background on the composer, as well as historical information.
Students develop enhanced focusing and listening skills, and learn to connect these musical experiences to other academic areas.
Since the program’s inception, Musicfest Minutes has touched the lives of approximately 25,000 students.
