Maestro Robert Moody conducts The Arizona Musicfest Festival Orchestra

This evening, Maestro Moody begins with Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man –
The world stands at attention.

Then, as you may know, our hyper-talented Orchestra is comprised of so many all-star musicians, we have Concertmasters from 4 other orchestras playing in our violin section! They star in Piazzola’s Four Seasons. – Infectious and Fascinating.

You will be welcomed back from Intermission with the New York City pulse and excitement of Richard Danielpour’s Toward the Splendid City!

Then, Chris Brubeck’s Interplay for Violins – It’s a Best Composition Winner: It combines the Classical, Jazz and Fiddling genres.

And Maestro Moody concludes this evening of wonderment with Ravel’s Bolero – …always brings shouts and cheers.
