Arizona Musicfest is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Arizona in July of 2001. From 1992 to 2002 we were part of The Foothills Community Foundation.
As an independent organization, we are Board-managed by a group of citizen-volunteers.
We have an Executive Committee, which advises the Musicfest Chairman and makes it possible for her to manage the many initiatives of Musicfest with a great deal of efficiency and effectiveness. Our Executive Committee consists of the Chairs of the Volunteer, Fundraising, Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Education committees, plus our Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, and Managing Director. From time to time others are asked to contribute to this important advisory function.
Our Bylaws require that a quorum of one-third of our Board members be present to vote on any action.
We hold a minimum of four Board Meetings a year and eight Executive Committee meetings.
Below you will meet our Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Staff and some Volunteers.
We are proud of them and what they do.

Our Paid Staff
Our Managing Director is Dr. Guillaume Grenier-Marmet, recently appointed to the position.
Our Assistant to the Managing Director is Jo Ellen McCall, in that position for two years.
In addition are contracts with our professional musicians: Maestro and Artistic Director, Robert Moody, and the musicians of our Festival Orchestra.
Our Volunteers They make Musicfest happen. Thank you, one and all! And join us if you can.
Our Office This is possibly the most spirited address in the area. It’s here that so much happiness is sent out into our various neighborhoods. It’s professionally equipped, centrally located, and cheerfully decorated.
Our Financial Stability From our fledgling start 16 years ago, we now generate over $500,000 annually from ticket sales, donations and grants. We use these funds to present the annual Festival, to execute all of our Youth Opportunity and Education Initiatives, and to administer our office. Additionally, we have the Musicfest Endowment Fund, which is growing separately from our operating revenues.
Our Newsletter For years we have been publishing Footnotes, our quarterly newsletter. Below is an online archive of current and back issues which are available to learn more about Musicfest.
