Musicfest is, essentially, an all-volunteer army of lovers of great music – driven to bring its greatness into our community. Over 200 volunteers help with all aspects of Musicfest and thousands have done so over our 15-year history. We keep our expenses incredibly low by only having two paid employees.
So, it is you, our volunteers, who make Musicfest work. Volunteering opportunities are:
- Usher at a concert
- Process ticket orders
- Do other helpful tasks in the Musicfest office
- Provide Bed and Breakfast for a visiting musician during a future Festival
- Join the Education Committee to promote music in our schools
- Work on any or all benefit and gala events
- Participate in fund raising
- Sell advertising for the Festival program book
- Help run the Young Artists Concert or the Young Musicians Competition
- Docent in the local schools
- Help with marketing
- Host a Musicfest Musicale
- And much, much more!
